BIG HOUSE TRILOGY
Anyone reading up on Irish cinema may have scome across the phrase 'big house trilogy'. This refers to three forgotten Irish films made back in the day. They were The dawning, Fools of fortune, and Last September. They deal the 1920s and the Anglo-Irish who realise that their era is over. Completely forgotten titles that should still get made as there is an audience for these films and are the kind of stuff that win awards.
