WATERFORD FILM FESTIVAL SWITCHES TO SHORTS!
Unemployment blackspot Waterford City has a film festival. For some reason they have decided to ignore features and concentrate on short films. Bad idea. We have too many people in this country making rubbish short films. We do not have enough people making their own features. No wonder Irish cinema is so bad?

The film festival shows short films from around the World. Films range from 1st time directors to award winning films. Plus we used to screen features until our funding got cut during the height of the recession.
