Nora
This is the kind of prestigious production that got made here back in the '90s. A famous actor in a James Joyce life story, the kind of movie that soaks up Film Board and EU funds and gets selected by festivals. Made in the style of a European '70s movie: short scenes, impressive music on the soundtrack, and using the actual locations of the story. It's about Joyce's relationship with his wife and the troubles he has getting his work published. Some parts were good but a lot was boring. Also the sound levels were all over the place.
