Says producer Morgan O'Sullivan*. He's right, move all the jobbing Irish directors to television where they can work on The Tudors, Love/Hate, Raw, and all that rubbish. "Ireland is in a good place to succeed on the smaller screen" he says. Well it's certain not succeeding on the BIG screen! Let the few Irish directors remaining with a voice or a passion for cinema continue to make features. That's how Irish films will improve over the next decade?
