In 1905 an Irish carnival discovers a mermaid-like woman, steals it, and travels to America on a ship. However, the mermaid is really a monster and starts killing those aboard. TV-movie that rips off Alien and King Kong with nothing original to add. Pedestrian effort with only one good scene of the monster looking at everyone in the water. Little known movie but it's out on DVD.
